12:21 PM (3 hours ago)
 Good Morning!
As I look forward to this coming Sunday, it is a bit week!  First of all, we will celebrate our graduating seniors, Makenna Gabbert, Addison Marx, Ayana Jones, and Izabell Siegle, by awarding them with a quilt made by our very own quilters during our 10 am worship service.  TherGe will be a reception for our seniors before our 10 am worship services, so if you want to greet them, they will be here beginning at 9 am.  Cupcakes will be served.  After worship, our 5th graders will meet with Norm Unterseher to learn how to be acolytes and then will move to the basement to make communion bread with Karen Schock.  Lunch will be served.  This is always a fun time to be together.  Last year, we were unable to make bread with our 5th graders, so if your child is now in 6th grade, they are welcome to join us in this fun event.  Please contact me if your child plans to attend so that we can make sure there is enough food to go around.  At noon, I will step out to meet with the motorcycle club to do the blessing of the bikes.  This is also a fun event!  if you have a bike you wish to be blessed, I 'm sure they wouldn't mind if you joined in on the prayer time.

Life is becoming full and social again!  God created us to be in community, and if there is anything I learned this past year, it is that community is even more of a blessing than I had realized.  I intend to continue to appreciate the people around me more than ever as we begin to gather together once again.

Zion Lutheran Church has always been an active part of the world community.

From our yearly World Mission Sunday to support of rural ministry,

from Lutheran World Relief to proving a community used furniture room

and supporting the local food bank, Zion is "a church without walls".

Our members recognize the importance of their baptisms and through worship

and regular holy communion, believe God's call to discipleship is a call to faith in action.

We invite you to worship with us.

"All are welcome in this place"
